Every June we plant a large field with pumpkin seeds. Throughout the warm summer months we watch those seeds produce vines, flowers and lastly pumpkins. Our best pumpkin crops grow during drier summers - the plants do not like too much rain. When October comes around, the vines begin to brown and the pumpkins are ready to harvest.
We open our pumpkin field for Pick-Your-Own on several October weekends.
